Your Personal Budget
We plan the trip so once you depart, there's almost nothing to pay for.
These are about the only on-tour expenses that are outside of the trip package.
 -- Kathmandu lunches & dinners. These can vary in price. In family restaurants, Nepal’s national dish of rice, lentils & curried vegetables is usually around $4.
-- There will be an optional side trip during the rest and relaxation section: a Mountain Flight for a closer encounter with the Himalayas. Approximately $150. You can wait to decide on that option until we are in Nepal.
-- Airport departure taxes in Asia. These are variable, and each could be zero, or up to $50
-- Individual tips to our crew. $100 (see details next page)
-- Other optional activities that might be arranged during free time. They would depend on people's interests. These could be a feast of traditional Newari cuisine, an afternoon ride on ceremonial elephants, or a performance of classical Nepali dance.
